Purpose : To maintain established residential and commercial landscapes, including garden areas and pond areas, in the Omaha metro area. Landscape maintenance technicians are often the first line of contact with clients and will promptly respond and take action for specific requests and concerns.

This is an entry-level position, but previous experience is preferred and will be taken in consideration with any offers made.
At minimum all applicants must have a valid driver’s license. Applicants must be able to work outside in a variety of weather conditions. Applicants must be able to stoop, stand, crouch, and balance and lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
This position requires strong customer service and oral communication skills and an enthusiastic attitude towards gardening, pest control, planting, and design. Knowledge of plants, shrubs, and trees is a definite plus for an potential applicant.
Applicants must be able to use hand tools, such as shovels, rakes, pruning shears, saws, hedge or brush trimmers, axes, amongst an array of other power equipment as needed for specific jobs. Knowledge of application and use of these tools is preferred, but training is available
Other necessary skills and work styles include but are not limited to the following: active listening, critical thinking, dependability, attention to detail, cooperation, time management, and self-control
Communicate with clients regularly about actions taken and actions necessary to keep garden areas in brilliant shape
Remove weeds, leaves, debris in garden areas to keep garden areas picturesque and crisp
Installs mulch, prepares soil, installs plants, regulates optimum watering levels for garden areas
Monitors and eradicates garden pests by utilizing various methods such as herbicides, pesticides, and fungicides, etc. Valid Nebraska Applicator’s License preferred at hire, and required within first year of employment.
